Two truck sizes
One gets into tight, steep driveways. The other carries bins up to 10m³.
About Best Bin Hire
Locally owned, run by Murray from Swansea since 2018, and home of Beastie.
Our story
The Home of Beastie
Best Bin Hire has been supplying skip bins to homes, builders and businesses across Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter for years. The business was running long before the website went live in 2014.
In 2018 Murray bought the business. For the 8 years since, he has run it from Swansea and kept it simple: turn up when we say we will, put the bin where you need it, and give you a fair price.
When you call 0418 677 904, you are talking to the person who runs the trucks. There is no call centre and no booking queue, just a local who knows the streets, the driveways and the council rules.
How we got here
Best Bin Hire Over the Years
- Early days
A local bin mob
Best Bin Hire was dropping skips around Lake Macquarie and Newcastle well before it had a website.
- 2014
Online, with Beastie
The website goes live and Beastie, the pink monster who loves to talk rubbish, becomes the face of the business.
- 2018
Murray takes over
Murray buys the business and runs it from Swansea, with the same local service and the same Beastie.
Where we work from
Based in Swansea. Tipping at Cardiff, Mayfield, Teralba & Maryland.
Our trucks start each day at our Swansea base, on the channel between Lake Macquarie and the ocean.
We can tip at four places across the region: Cardiff, Mayfield, Teralba and Maryland. Having more than one tip means a full bin never has to travel far to be emptied. That keeps our trucks moving, gets bins swapped out quickly and helps keep your price down.
It also means we cover every suburb within about 20 km of those five points, from Catherine Hill Bay and Morisset up to Stockton, Thornton and Raymond Terrace.
